How I work
Counselling gives you space to slow down, breathe, and talk honestly about whatever you are going through. You might be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or simply not yourself. Whatever brings you here, we will take things at your pace. I offer a calm, grounded and confidential space where you can talk openly, reflect, and start to understand your feelings more clearly.
I work in a way that is led by you. Sometimes we will focus on what is happening in your life right now, and other times we might gently explore past experiences or patterns that feel connected to what you are feeling today. There is no pressure to know where to start. We simply begin where you are.
I am here to offer a calm, grounded space where you feel supported to explore whatever is going on for you, and we will make sense of things together as they unfold. You can expect warmth, steadiness, curiosity and space to be yourself, without judgement or pressure.
Our first session is a chance for us to meet and see how it feels to talk together. We will explore what brings you here, go over practicalities and confidentiality, and you are welcome to ask any questions. Most importantly, it gives you a sense of whether this feels like the right place and the right fit for you.
